Some countries have a tradition of celebrating St. Nick or Saint Nicholas on December 6th. In Germany, children place their wooden shoes or winter boots out, some fill them with carrots and hay for Nikolaus's animals, and in return, Nikolaus fills them with sweet treats. But you can also just visit the shop and find a pair of lovely wooden shoes with a unique pattern, handmade with all the craftsmanship.
